GAME RULES SUMMARY
FootBowl combines traditional bowling with football, featuring unique gameplay rules.
Game Structure:

No kickoffs, timeclock, or quarters.

Yards are gained or lost based on the difference in pins knocked down per frame.

Traditional football rules apply.

Example:
A strike on offense vs. a strike on defense results in a no gain. A 9-spare on offense vs. a 6-spare on defense results in a 3-yard gain for the offense.

Teams and Lanes:
-
On a single lane, odd position bowlers are the home team.
-
On a pair of lanes, the left lane is the home team.
-
Home team starts on offense from their own 25-yard line.

4th Down:
-
On or outside the opponent's 35-yard line: automatic punt.
-
On or inside the opponent's 30-yard line: automatic field goal.
-
On the opponent's 31, 32, 33, or 34-yard line: offense attempts to make a first down.
Overtime:
-
In the event of a tie, a field goal is awarded to the team with the highest pinfall in the 10th frame.
